Jangan pertaruhkan angggota badan kita di jalan

Sering kali beberapa pengendara motor, mempertaruhkan bagian dari tubuhnya sendiri, seperti kepala, leher, tangan, kaki dan sebagainya. Sudah jelas, fatwa MUI (Majelis Ulama Indonesia) menyatakan segala sesuatu yang bersifat judi/bertaruh kondisinya haram. Lantas mengapa mempertaruhkan bagian tubuh kita kok tidak di haramkan? Bahkan terkesan mempertaruhkan anggota badan kita saat ini sudah hal biasa di jalanan. Sering saya melihat biker dijalanan tidak menggunakan perlengkapan safety, seakan-akan mereka yakin bahwa hari ini/itu tidak akan terjadi sesuatu terhadap dirinya.
Memang nasib buruk (kecelakaan), kita tidak tahu kapan menimpa kita, namun kita sebagai umat Tuhan wajib menjaga apa yang telah dititipkan oleh Tuhan kepada kita, yaitu salah satunya adalah badan kita. Mungkin bagi kita yang pernah menggunakan transportasi udara (pesawat terbang) akan selalu ingat bagaimana para pramugari memberikan contoh menggunakan pelampung, juga masker udara, dan biasanya juga diberikan informasi dimana posisi pintu darurat serta bagaimana posisi tubuh kita jika dalam kondisi pendaratan darurat. Hal seperti itu semuanya wajib dipersiapkan walaupun kita tidak tahu kapan dan dimana semua yang diinformasikan tadi akan digunakan.
Begitu juga halnya dengan pengendara motor (biker), wajib mempersiapkan diri terhadap kondisi terburuk andaikan terjadi, dengan melengkapi perlengkapan yang dipakai jika berkendaraan motor. Perlengkapan yang wajib digunakan adalah :
- Rider disarankan mengunakan Helm Full Face yang memiliki pelindung mata (kaca helm) , sedangkan untuk penumpang di harapkan mengunakan minimal Helm Open Face/Half yang memiliki pelindung mata (kaca helm) . Namun demi kebaikan dan keselamatan semua penumpang motor, saya pribadi menyarankan agar menggunakan Helm Full Face, sebab mengapa, jika terjadi kecelakaan rahang dan dagu kita akan dapat terlindungi dari benturan benda keras, sebab hal ini pernah saya alami.
- Menggunakan sarung tangan. Disarankan dan diharapkan sarung tangan yang memiliki pelindung keras/ Hard protector. Bagian pelindung ini biasanya diposisi bagian tangan kita yang rentan cedera, seperti persendian jari, dan bagian tulang atas telapak tangan. Sarung tangan ini berlaku untuk rider dan boncenger/penumpang.
- Mengunakan Sepatu yang tertutup hingga tumit atau boot, berlaku untuk rider dan penumpang.
- Membawa Rain Gear, atau jas hujan dengan bagian atas dan bawah terpisah, jas hujan dengan model ponco tidak diperbolehkan, berlaku untuk rider dan penumpang. Dan membawa Rain Gear untuk sepatu, pemakaian selain sepatu dilarang. Penggunaan jas hujan ponco sangatlah membahayakan bagi rider dan penumpang. Sebab mengapa, sifat dari jas huja ponco adalah lebar, jika terjadi hujan angin maka akan mengganggu kestabilan motor, selain itu rentan bahaya, jas ponco mudah tersangkut dengan kendaraan lain.
- Mengunakan Jaket yang tahan terhadap terpaan angin (wind breaker) atau mengunakan rompi tambahan, berlaku untuk rider dan penumpang. Penumpang tidak diharuskan mengunakan rompi tambahan. menyarankan mengunakan Jaket yang mengunakan pelindung dari bahan keras (hard protector). Selain pelindug dari terpaan angin, jaket berfungsi sebagai peredam awal terhadap tubuh kita (kulit) jika kita terjatuh dari motor. Andaikan jaket kita tipis dan mudah sobek, maka jika terjatuh tubuh kita akan terluka dalam hal ini kulit kita yang akan rusak entah itu lecet atau terkelupas.
Saya jadi teringat dengan sahabat saya, dimana saya sering kali menasehati dia tentang hal ini, sebab sahabat saya ini jika naik motor perlengkapannya semuanya dipakai kecuali sepatu, sebab alesannya adalah panas, dan kalau banjir lebih praktis dan tidak merusak sepatu jika kena air. Akhirnya suatu hari ditengah malam dia mengalami kecelakaan, dimana ada pengendara motor mabok berat menabrak dia, dan alhasil semua tubuh dia yang paling parah cedera adalah dibagian jari kaki kanannya, terutama jempol kaki kanan, dan harus dilakukan operasi pada jempolnya, bahkan kuku kakinya semuanya harus dicopot.
Haruskan semua kondisi ini terjadi pada kita,
- Haruskan kita menumbalkan diri kita untuk segelintir kepentingan kita yang hanya ingin lebih cepat, kurang nyaman, gerah/panas dsb?,
- Haruskan semua ini dipertaruhkan setiap harinya?
- Haruskah semua pembelajaran itu melalui sesuatu yang kurang enak (kecelakaan)?
Saya rasa hal demikian bisa kita hindari dan bisa kita jaga. Yang jelas motor bukanlah suatu kendaraan yang berbahaya. Berbahaya atau tidak semua kendaraan itu, kembali kepada siapa yang mengendarainya. Oleh karena itu, demi keselamatan kita pribadi, demi kebahagiaan keluarga kita, dan demi ketentraman, serta kenyamanan kepentingan umum, mari kita tanamkan pada diri kita :
- Hidup yang diberikan Tuhan kepada kita ini adalah suatu amanah yang harus dijaga dan dipelihara untuk kepentingan diri pribadi, keluarga dan masyarakat disekitar kita serta untuk kepentingan umum.
- Dalam hidup, kita tidak sendirian. Kita memiliki keluarga, kita memiliki teman yang kita kenal, dan kita juga berkomunikasi dan berhubungan dengan masyarakat disekitar kita dimana kita berada. Jika terjadi kecelakaan terhadap diri kita, maka yang merana, yang merasa sedih, dan yang merasa dirugikan bukan diri kita pribadi saja. Yang jelas selain diri kita adalah keluarga kita, pasti amat sedih baik lahir maupun batin, lalu pihak yang dirugikan atas kecelakaan yg kita alamai, entah itu lawan dari kecelakaan kita atau pihak lain yang merasa terhambat karena kondisi ini.
- Tanamkan pada diri kita, tubuh yang kita miliki ini sesungguhnya bukan milik kita. Tubuh kita ini hanyalah titipan Tuhan yang harus kita jaga dan kita pelihara. Oleh karena itu dalam proses penggunaannya, janganlah mempertaruhkan sesuatu yang bukan milik kita. Kita sebagai pengemban amanah wajib menjaga dan memeliharanya secara maksimal, setelah maksimal namun masih terjadi, itu diluar kendali kita.
Marilah mulai dari sekarang, mulai dari diri kita untuk berkendara baik mobil ataupun motor selalu tetap safety riding, patuhi rambu lalulintas yang ada dengan didukung oleh akhlak yang baik, sopan dan tidak arogan. (PB)
